This is a brief preview of some of what we will have out for this weekends barn sale, 10-6.
We are located in Milan, just 3.8 miles from the Taconic Parkway at the 199 / 308 Traffic Light. (at the literal fork in the road) Our store address is 775 Rt 199. This should bring us up on Garmin. Do not put in "Wiltsie Bridge" as that will bring up Wiltsie Bridge Road which is located in another town.
Please call the shop with questions or if you need directions.
Beautiful box, these make great coffee tables, side tables, and blanket and wool sweater storage. Would also be great in a hallway as extra storage and seat.
This is a very desirable hooked rug due to its very primitive design and the fact that it was hooked during economic hardships. A bit of American history intertwined with art.
Beautiful and serene Hudson Valley painting dating from the earlier part
of the century. Very well done, vivid colors, good composition. Signed
Scene depicts mountains, a valley, stream and cows. Came from a local Hudson Valley estate.
Painting is in good condition, no rips are tears. There is a thick patch of oil paint that may have been an attempt to conceal a scratch. Not very noticeable.
Frame is old, glided and compliments the painting.
Measures: 25” x 20”
We have a few large antique apothecary bottles at the shop, I think these are pyrex glass and date from the 1930's to the 1950's. Two of the bottles have raised glass letters, one a "g", the other a "s".
These are nice to decorate with, I personally like these as wine decanters. They have their original glass bottle stoppers, very sturdy and heavy duty. Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware are selling reproductions of these, get the real thing!
Price: $35 each.
