This past weekend I was out "picking" for new antiques and vintage finds for the shop, made some new "friends" while I was at it!
This is Annie, a large long haired tabby who greets customers at one of our local auction houses. Despite her grumpy appearance, Annie is very good natured, loves testing out the antique furniture for comfiness and being petted by auction patrons.

Classic vintage modern lamp. Designed to go with everything in the modern home, the tapered chrome base and hand blown frosted glass globe is just wonderful. As with all Laurel lamps the parts, weight and construction are top drawer. This is an excellent example in very good vintage condition. Light oxidation bright and shinny- no chrome loss. Measures Base 51 inches tall, with shade it stands 56 1/2 inches Base is 10 inches in diameter Hand Blown Shade is 13 inches in diameter.

Vintage industrial wood and zinc metal ice box from the 1940's or 1950's. In excellent condition, very cool piece. Has all the original brass hardware, Frost King name advertising plate, all the metal shelves. Icebox was stripped to reveal the beautiful wood finish.
Box has no condition issues, very sturdy and clean.
Great cabinet for kitchen storage, as a wine holder, can be filled with ice at parties for beer!
Measures: 31 ½" wide by 16 ½" deep and 41" high.

Early primitive trade sign from the early 1900's from a Jewish Catskill NY campground. Bab-el-Wad is a Hebrew or Arabic word meaning "Gates of The valley".

Sign has it's original green paint and white lettering, was used outside.

Antique primitive farmhouse table or desk, two draws, deep rich patina and worm holes! Table originally comes from Italy, dates to the late 1800's to the early 1900's.
Table is in good condition, one of the legs were broken and repaired as you can see from the photos. That is why the table is priced low, there are some scratches on the finish as well, other then that, this table is a beautiful with a rustic farmhouse / industrial appeal.

Large farmhouse primitive painted jelly cupboard, 1800's, 19th c, original old red paint. Beautiful cabinet, ideal for kitchen storage, or as a linen cabinet in the bedroom. Many other uses. Constructed of wood and square head nails.
In, great, sturdy condition, there is a crack in one of the door panels, (see photos), other then that, the cupboard is in sound condition.
Measures: 48" wide, 46 1/2" tall and 16 1/2" deep.

Large primitive metal chickens wire three-tier birdcage. Beautiful and unique garden decoration for planting succulents, ferns, moss, ivy and herbs. Can also be used to hold every day household objects, perhaps in the bathroom holding towels and soaps.
Cage is not an antique, looks to have been manufactured in the past number of years. In good used condition. There two dents in the wire mesh, other then that, in very good sturdy condition. Has two tabs on the back to be hung on a wall, seems capable of holding a lot of weight. I have a medium heavy terracotta planter on the bottom tier.
Measures: 32” tall by 26” wide and 13” deep.
